Looking Back at Our Biggest Pride Celebration Ever 🌈

October 6, 2025

2025 Was A Landmark year

We couldn’t be happier with the community turnout to our 2025 Pride celebration. We hosted our biggest to date with a full weekend of entertainment from Friday to Sunday! To commemorate this landmark year, we’ve put together some highlights of the weekend. Browse through some selected photos from our 2025 pride photo gallery, or browse the entire photo gallery and share with your friends.

Sonoma Valley Pride's First Headliner Dance Party

We kicked off the weekend with our first-ever Evening Pride Dance Party at Buena Vista Winery, welcoming Sonoma’s LGBTQ+ residents and allies. The night took place in true Sonoma Wine Country flair, with beautiful wines, great friends, chosen family and the music by DJ MProper.

Pride Festival on the Historic Sonoma Plaza

Our largest Pride Festival and March was filled with performances, speakers, vendors and a lot of community pride.

Pride March and Unfurling of the Pride flag

First, we not only raised the pride flag and lined the square with pride banners and lights, but we also witnessed Sonoma’s largest unfurling of the pride flag to date.

Performances and Speakers

The day featured vibrant performances by LGBTQ+ artists like Lambert Moss and KC Shane as well as allies like our town favorite, Transcendence Theatre Company. We had inspiring words from Suzanne Ford, Executive Director of San Francisco Pride; Mayor Patricia Farar-RivasChief of PoliceChristopher Cabaldon– State Senator for the 3rd District, Brandon Cutting– SV Chief of Police, Rebecca Hermosillo– Our 21st District Supervisor, Sam Coturri– Local Winery Owner, Winery Sixteen 600, Eva Hellmold, founder of “Break the Stigma. Of course, we can’t forget our Pride team and sponsors, Gary Saperstein of Out In the Vineyard and Lisa Storment of Wakeup Sonoma.

Vendors and Organizations

Over 15 community groups and local businesses participated — including WakeUp Sonoma, Sonoma Community CenterMentoring AllianceSparc, and the beloved Artescape, who brought joy to families with art and face painting.

A Community Like No Other

The community of Sonoma truly showed up — LGBTQ+ residents, allies, families, and friends of all ages gathered together in love and celebration.

Our City Proudly Supports The LGBTQ+ Community

We’re especially grateful for the City of Sonoma’s incredible commitment to Pride, shown through their words and actions. This year, the city issued its first official proclamation declaring June as Pride Monthraised the Pride flaglit up the Plaza, and supported our event with a generous grant that ensures our 2026 celebration will be even more impactful.
